When a government shutdown pauses your paycheck, we’re here for you.

Our Federal Pay Bridge Loan offers short-term, interest-free support to help you cover essential living expenses until your pay resumes.

How the Program Works

  • Interest-free loans up to $7,500

  • Disbursed in monthly installments up to $2,500 for up to three months

  • Cannot exceed the borrower’s previous monthly income

  • Funds may be used for essential living needs

Repayment

  • Repayment starts when your federal pay resumes or after six months, whichever comes first

  • Payments are spread over a 12-month period

  • If you receive back pay, we ask that the remaining balance be repaid within one week

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must

  • Be 18+ with a valid ID

  • Live in Southern Arizona (Pima, Cochise, or Santa Cruz County)

  • Be a federal employee impacted by the shutdown

  • Complete the application

  • Apply jointly with your spouse if married

What You’ll Need to Apply

Please be ready to provide:

  • Pre- and during-shutdown, pay stubs confirming federal employment

  • (If applicable) Spouse information & signature

  • Consent for credit check

    • Credit score 740+ — no guarantor required

    • Credit score below 740 — guarantor with 740+ required
