When a government shutdown pauses your paycheck, we’re here for you.
Our Federal Pay Bridge Loan offers short-term, interest-free support to help you cover essential living expenses until your pay resumes.
How the Program Works
Interest-free loans up to $7,500
Disbursed in monthly installments up to $2,500 for up to three months
Cannot exceed the borrower’s previous monthly income
Funds may be used for essential living needs
Repayment
Repayment starts when your federal pay resumes or after six months, whichever comes first
Payments are spread over a 12-month period
If you receive back pay, we ask that the remaining balance be repaid within one week
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must
Be 18+ with a valid ID
Live in Southern Arizona (Pima, Cochise, or Santa Cruz County)
Be a federal employee impacted by the shutdown
Complete the application
Apply jointly with your spouse if married
